My name is Jess, I live in Yorkshire in England, and I’m the owner of two female Labradors. The eldest is Vada, named after a character from one of my favourite films, My Girl. My fox-red Labrador is called Hallie. I started this website in 2012 to document owning my Dobermann, Lupo, who sadly passed away in 2021. We brought Vada home the same year and Hallie the year after, and are learning all over again how to raise great family dogs.
On this site you’ll find our opinions on what has worked for us owning a dog and what, quite frankly, lasted 30 seconds on returning from a trip to Pets at Home. I hope to give an insight into things like dog toys, dog food, pet friendly places to walk and holiday, along with answering those questions every dog owner has.
